Purpose of the toolbar buttons (left-right):


Insert Symbol

 		Inserts symbol.
Insert Table

 		Inserts a new table.
Insert Picture

 		Inserts a picture from disk.
Insert Flash
 		Inserts Flash.

Insert OLE Document

 		Inserts an OLE-object.
Insert Horizontal Line

 		Inserts a horizontal line.
Insert Hyperlink

 		Inserts a hypertext link.
Insert File

 		Inserts contents of file in the document.

Also, you can use Insert menu of the text editor.
