Now you can choose preferable test session view. Use accustomed Complex view or a new Compact view, that we recommend to use for tests with rich formatted text of question and choices.
Select the Lock Return to Previous Question option, to lock return to previous question during test session. TestGold provides possibility to refuse from answer definition in case of voluntary admission of tested person in impossibility to answer or disagreement with offered limited choices (earning points are reduced less in comparison with unsuccessful attempt to guess right answer). To use this possibility, select the Let Answer Refusal option.
TestGold provides possibility to define question tips. The tested person can use them to answer Select the Show Answer Result right after its Submission option to show answer result on each question right after answer submission. Use additional controls to define it in details. Select the Show Earning Points for Question option to calculate earned points for the question right after answer submission and show result to the tested person as a text message in the area of the test session dialog box.
Select the Show Max Possible Points for Question option to calculate max possible points for the question right after answer submission and show result to the tested person as a text message in the area of the test session dialog box.
In the At Right Answer group, you can specify text and/or sound message in case of right answer (only if you selected the Show Earning Points for Question option). To define text message, select the Message option and enter the text into the Message Text field. To define sound message, select the Play Sound option and specify the file name in the Sound File entry field (there is a button in the right corner of this field to choose the file in standard Open file dialog). For preview of used sound message, press Preview button.
In the At Wrong Answer group, you can specify text and/or sound message in case of wrong answer (only if you selected the Show Earning Points for Question option). To define text message, select the Message option and enter the text into the Message Text field. To define sound message, select the Play Sound option and specify the file name in the Sound File entry field (there is a button in the right corner of this field to choose the file in standard Open file dialog). For preview of used sound message, press Preview button.
Select the Let Question FeedBack option to define possibility of feedback – text and/or multimedia data given to the tested person if the answer is wrong.
To define it precisely and prevent return to previous question after definite questions only, specify their numbers (use semicolon as delimiter) in the field Points of No Return.
Select the Show Answer Accuracy option to check answer accuracy right after its submission and show result to the tested person as a text and/or sound message.
