This tab is designed for definition of main question properties such as question type, question text, question weight, time limit, multimedia data (image, audio, video). There is a built-in text editor in this dialog box (only if you choose Free Formatted Text Type).

When you create a new question, specify its type in the Question Type list. When you edit an existing question, this list is disabled. To limit answer time, use fields of the Time Limit group: deselect Unlimited option Question Related Topics:
Questions can have different complexity, therefore there is a question weight (points for the answer are multiplied by question weight) for more precise evaluation of knowledge level. Question weight can be specified in the Question Weight entry field. By default, 1.
Question text is entered in the Question Text field (data size is not limited, it’s an obligatory field).
When you edit the text, “live spelling” is made and incorrect (or missing in the dictionary) words are marked by a red wavy line. To choose the correct choice of a word, right click on it and select correct value in the popup context menu.
In the Text Type combo box, you can set question text type, which can have 2 values: Unformatted text and Formatted text. Choice of the text type depends on a task. Usually you can use unformatted text for the majority of tests. At the same time additional text formatting improves its appearance and value (use of different fonts, formulas, schemes, tables, Flash- and OLE-objects, etc.). There is a powerful built-in text editor for the text formatting.
